Is the Higher Self Coach a replacement for therapy?

No—think of it more as a life coach who takes the form of your highest self. While it can work well in conjunction with therapy, we are huge fans of seeing a real-life human licensed therapist.

How do I get the most out of Higher Self?

  1. Set clear goals early on: The more focused the goal the more personalized and actionable your Coach’s guidance will be.
    Example: “I want to build a consistent morning routine and write 1,000 words a week for my book.”

  2. Commit to Daily Check-Ins: Start every day by engaging with your Coach to outline the top priorities to build accountability and set the tone for the day.
    Example: “Today’s focus: Meditate for 5 minutes, finish the project proposal, and walk 5,000 steps.”

  3. Utilize the coach throughout the day to overcome real-time challenges: When feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure, message your Coach for advice or actionable steps. The Coach provides instant, judgement-free support to help you overcome hurdles.

    Example: “I’m procrastinating on this report”  → “Break it into smaller steps. Start with the intro. Set a 10-minute timer now!”

  4. Reflect and learn daily: End each day with a reflection prompt and review what went well and what you’d like to improve. Regular reflection creates awareness and builds long term habits.
    Example: "I crushed my presentation and meetings but skipped the gym. Tomorrow, I will workout first thing.”

Is my data safe?

All data is anonymized and stored in accordance with privacy regulation best practices. You have the right to request access to your data or request it be deleted at any time. Although we may also analyze aggregated and anonymized information for product development and marketing, we do not sell personal information and will only disclose data if required by law.

TL:DR: Your data is safe. We will have no way of tracing conversations back to you, but we might still read anonymous conversations for product improvement so please don't say anything that would require us to bleach our eyeballs.
